PSD NEWS RELEASE: State sheriff’s capture missing WCCC work furlough inmate

HONOLULU — Women’s Community Correctional Center (WCCC) work furlough inmate Levon Kahee was arrested by State Sheriffs at about 9:40 a.m. in Ewa Beach. Kahee failed to return after work to the YWCA Fernhurst furlough home in Makiki on March 10.

36-year old Kahee was serving time for Identity Theft 2, Methamphetamine Trafficking 2 and Promoting a Dangerous Drug 3. Escape 2 is expected to be added to her charges. Her next parole hearing is scheduled for August of this year.

The YWCA Fernhurst work furlough program is a community-based, contracted furlough program for female offenders with community custody status.
