OAHU LANE CLOSURES

FOR THE WEEK OF JULY 30 – JULY 6

— H-1 FREEWAY —

1) EWA (WEEKEND WORK)

Right lane closure on H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction at the Kunia/Waipahu/Ewa offramp (Exit 5) on Saturday, June 30, from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., for electrical maintenance work.

2) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Queen Emma Street overpass and the Nuuanu Avenue overpass on Friday, June 29, through Friday, July 6, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

3) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

24-hour shoulder closures on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Kalihi Street overpass and the Liliha Street overpass on Friday, June 29, through Friday, July 6, for guardrail and shoulder improvements.

4) HONOLULU (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)
Two right lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Vineyard Boulevard offramp (Exit 22) and the School Street offramp (Exit 21A) on Sunday night, July 1, through Tuesday morning, July 3, and Thursday night, July 5, through Friday morning, July 6, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for guardrail and shoulder improvements. The westbound Punchbowl Street onramp will be closed during this time. Traffic will be detoured.

5) HONOLULU (WEEKEND WORK)

Alternating lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Waikiki/Nimitz Highway offramp (Exit 18A) and the Middle Street overpass on Saturday, June 30, from 5:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

6) HONOLULU

Right lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of the Gulick Avenue overpass on Monday, July 2, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

7) HONOLULU

Alternating lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of the Kalihi Street overpass on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

8) HONOLULU

Right lane closure on the Middle Street/Dillingham Boulevard offramp (Exit 18B) from the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction on Thursday, July 5, from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

9) KAPOLEI (NIGHT WORK)

Lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between Farrington Highway and the Kalaeloa Boulevard overpass on Monday night, July 2, through Friday morning, July 6, from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., for maintenance work.

10) KAPOLEI

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the eastbound direction between the Wakea Street onramp and the Makakilo Drive overpass on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

11) KAPOLEI

Left lane closure on the H-1 Freeway in the westbound direction between the Kualakai Parkway underpass and the Farrington Highway offramp (Exit 1E) on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for the Kapolei Interchange Complex Phase 2 project.

12) PEARL CITY (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Friday night, June 29, through Monday morning, July 2, for pavement work.

Friday night

Eastbound: Two lanes close at 6:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 7:30 p.m. All lanes reopen at 6:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.
Westbound: Two lanes close at 7:30 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.

Saturday night

Eastbound: One lane closed at 6 p.m. Two lanes close at 7 p.m. Three lanes close at 8 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:30 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.
Westbound: Two lanes close at 6 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 10:15 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.

Sunday night

Westbound: Two lanes close at 8 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 3 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.

13) PEARL CITY (NIGHT WORK)

Up to three lanes closed on the H-1 Freeway in both directions between the H-1/H-2 merge and the Aiea Heights Drive overpass on Monday night, July 2, through Tuesday morning, July 3, and Thursday night, July 5, through Friday morning, July 6, for pavement work.

Monday night

Westbound: Two lanes close at 8 p.m. Three lanes close at 9 p.m. All lanes reopen at 3 a.m. The shoulder will be closed.

Right lane closure on the H-2 Freeway in both directions between the Ka Uka Boulevard overpass and Wahiawa offramp (Exit 8) on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail work.

Up to two lanes closed on the H-201 Moanalua Freeway in both directions in the vicinity of the Puuloa Road overpass on Monday night, July 2, through Friday morning, July 6, from 9 p.m. to 4:30 a.m., for median work.

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between the Hospital Rock Tunnel and the Likelike Highway offramp (Exit 9) on Saturday, June 30, from 5 a.m. to 12 p.m., for electrical maintenance work.

2) KANEOHE

Right lane closure on the H-3 Freeway in the Honolulu-bound direction in the vicinity of the Harano Tunnel on Friday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., for maintenance work.

— FARRINGTON HIGHWAY —

1) HONOKAI HALE

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Aliinui Drive overpass and Kahe Beach Park on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for maintenance work.

2) KAPOLEI

Roving closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Aliinui Drive and Laaloa Street on Monday, July 2, through Thursday, July 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) MAKAHA

Lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Makua Valley Road and Kili Drive on Monday night, July 2, through Friday morning, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail installation and road reconstruction. Traffic will be contraflowed.

4) MOKULEIA

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Kaiahulo Drive and Dillingham Airfield on Monday, July 2, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., for maintenance work.

5) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Left lane closed on Farrington Highway in both directions between Hakimo Road and Helelua Street on Sunday night, July 1, through Tuesday morning, July 3, and Thursday night, July 5, through Friday morning, July 6, from 9 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for pavement striping.

6) NANAKULI (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Farrington Highway in the westbound direction between Nanakuli Avenue and Helelua Street on Sunday night, July 1, through Tuesday morning, July 3, and Thursday night, July 5, through Friday morning, July 6, from 8:30 p.m. to 3:30 a.m., for drain line installations.

7) NANAKULI

Right lane closure on Farrington Highway in the eastbound direction between Helelua Street and Nanakuli Avenue on Thursday, July 5, through Friday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for sign installations.

7) NANAKULI

Alternating lane closure on Farrington Highway in both directions between Nanakuli Avenue and Haleakala Avenue on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, for the installation of traffic signals. Lane closure will occur in the westbound direction from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and in the eastbound direction from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

— KAHEKILI HIGHWAY —

1) KANEOHE

Right lane closure on Kahekili Highway in the northbound direction between Kahuhipa Street and Haiku Road on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewer work.

— KALANIANAOLE HIGHWAY —

1) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND/NIGHT WORK)

Two lanes closed on Kalanianaole Highway in the eastbound direction between Kalaniiki Street and West Hind Drive on Sunday night, July 1, through Tuesday morning, July 3, and Thursday night, July 5, through Friday morning, July 6, from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., for pavement resurfacing work. Traffic will be contraflowed in the westbound lanes.

2) AINA HAINA (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Laukahi Street and Kalaniiki Street on Saturday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) WAIMANALO

Lane closure on Kalanianaole Highway in both directions between Kanapuu Drive and Poalima Street on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for roadway reconstruction and utility work.

Lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the westbound direction in the vicinity of Salt Lake Boulevard on Friday, June 29, through Friday, July 6, over a twenty-four hour period, for The Rail project.

2) HALEIWA TO KAHALUU
Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Joseph P. Leong Highway and Kahekili Highway on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

3) HAUULA

Right lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Ahinalu Place and Kahikole Place on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for trenching work. The sidewalk and bike lane will be closed during this time.

4) KAAAWA

Roving closure on Kamehameha Highway in the northbound direction between Johnson Road and Kahana Valley Road on Monday, July 2, through Tuesday, July 3, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

5) KAHUKU (WEEKEND WORK)

Roving lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions in the vicinity of Kuilima Drive on Saturday, June 30, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

Roving closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Kalou Marsh and Malaekahana Valley Road on Monday, July 2, through Thursday, July 5, from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for maintenance work.

Up to two lanes closed on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Middle Street and Puuhale Road on Sunday night, July 1, through Friday morning, July 6, from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m., for The Rail project.

Alternating lane closure on Kamehameha Highway in both directions between Ka Uka Boulevard and Lanikuhana Avenue at the Kipapa Stream (Roosevelt) Bridge on Saturday, June 30, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Monday, July 2, through Tuesday, July 3, and Thursday, July 5, for bridge rehabilitation work. Traffic will be contraflowed.

Monday and Thursday closure from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.

One to two lanes closed on Likelike Highway in the Honolulu-bound direction between Emmeline Place and School Street on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for guardrail and striping work.

One to two lanes closed on Likelike Highway in the Kaneohe-bound direction between School Street and Gulick Avenue on Monday, July 2, through Friday, July 6, from 7:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., for curb work.
