HONOLULU – COVID-19 testing is continuously being conducted in the state prisons and jails as well as in the contracted Saguaro Correctional Center in Eloy, AZ. The latest testing updates received for the correctional facilities are as follows:

Halawa Correctional Facility – Nine (9) positive staff test results, 23 negative inmate test results.

Hawaii Community Correctional Center – 51 inmate test results: three (3) positive, 48 negative. The one (1) previously reported positive employee has recovered.

Oahu Community Correctional Center –37 inmate test results: three (3) positive, 34 negative. Two (2) positive staff test results.

Maui Community Correctional Center – Nine (9) staff test results: one (1) positive, eight (8) negative. Four (4) negative inmate test results.

Women’s Community Correctional Center – 106 negative inmate test results. Two (2) previously reported positive employees have recovered.

Kauai Community Correctional Center – Seven (7) negative inmate test results. The one (1) previously reported positive employee has recovered.

Waiawa Correctional Facility – One (1) previously reported positive employee has recovered.

COVID-19 updates for other PSD Divisions are as follows:

Sheriff Division (Hilo Section) – One (1) positive employee test result.

Administrative Division (Oahu) – One (1) previously reported positive admin employee located on Oahu has recovered.
