HONOLULU – COVID-19 testing is continuously being conducted in the state prisons and jails as well as in the contracted Saguaro Correctional Center in Eloy, AZ. The latest testing updates received for the correctional facilities are as follows:

Oahu Community Correctional Center – 107 inmate results; 56 positive, 51 negative. Three (3) positive staff test results.

Halawa Correctional Facility – 64 inmate test results; Four (4) positive, 60 negative. Three (3) positive staff test results. Two (2) employees have recovered.

Kauai Community Correctional Center – KCCC admitted one (1) inmate who was confirmed to have tested positive while in the community, prior to intake. The inmate was immediately placed in medical isolation. One (1) additional negative inmate test result was received.

Hawaii Community Correctional Center – One (1) positive staff test result. Eight (8) negative inmate test results.

Waiawa Correctional Facility – Two (2) negative inmate test results.

COVID-19 updates for other PSD Divisions are as follows:

Sheriff Division – Four (4) positive staff test results.

Administrative Division (Oahu) – Three (3) staff have recovered.
