HONOLULU – COVID-19 testing is continuously being conducted in the state prisons and jails as well as in the contracted Saguaro Correctional Center in Eloy, AZ. The latest testing updates received for the correctional facilities are as follows:

Maui Community Correctional Center – 136 inmate test results; 65 positive, 71 negative. 29 staff test results; Two (2) positive, 27 negative.

Hawaii Community Correctional Center – 15 inmate test results; Ten positive, Five (5) negative. Two (2) positive staff results reported.

Waiawa Correctional Facility – 149 inmate test results; Nine (9) positive, 140 negative. Three (3) staff have recovered.

Kauai Community Correctional Center – 27 inmate test results; Eight (8) positive, 19 negative.

Oahu Community Correctional Center – 17 inmate test results; 6 positive, 11 negative. Four (4) positive staff test result were reported. Seven (7) staff have recovered.

Halawa Correctional Facility –117 inmate test results; Five (5) positive, 112 negative. Two (2) positive staff results and four (4) staff recoveries reported.

Kulani Correctional Facility – One (1) negative inmate test result.

COVID-19 updates for other PSD Divisions are as follows:

Sheriff Division – Three (3) staff recoveries reported.

There are no inmates or staff reported hospitalized.
