Important Notice Regarding State IDs: In 2013, the state identification card program transferred from the Department of Attorney General to the Department of Transportation with the program administered by the counties. As a result, state ID cards are issued at designated drivers’ license locations (The Governor’s Neighbor Island Liaison Offices will no longer be issuing state IDs).
