County Partnerships

Our counties provide leadership on a number of fronts, such as homelessness, transportation, clean energy, and affordable housing. The Ige Administration will work more collaboratively with all counties to improve the overall function of our state.

Ige Administration County Partnership Plan

  • Work with counties to evaluate the state’s and each county’s roles and responsibilities to eliminate duplication of effort.
  • Consider the increased sharing of State resources with Counties for certain initiatives.
  • Enhance communication between state and counties on public improvement projects to reduce public inconvenience.
